The time is almost upon us once again.  One of the digital learning industry’s largest events hits London on Wednesday 3rd and 4th February at the London Olympia and it promises to be bigger and better than ever.

I suspect many of my connections are seasoned LT professionals and will know the drill.  However if you find yourself as an LT newbie you can find out everything you need to know at  The exhibition is completely free to attend and registration is still open.

Like any event of this size, it’s easy to fall into a trap of going unprepared and before you know it you’re weighed under bag of promo materials with a rumbling stomach and two very sore feet!  Whilst it’s not quite Indiana Jones, undertaking some simple preparations will allow you to make the most out of your visit.

Plan Your Adventure

Okay, stating the obvious here but at an event with 250 exhibitors, 150 seminars and around 7,500 others visitors it’s very easy to find yourself feeling a little lost!

The LT website is packed full of info on the exhibitors and also has a full outline of the seminar programme.   The official LT app will also be released soon and this is a great tool for planning your day out.

Bring a Packed Lunch..or At Least Some Snacks!

No-one can enjoy their day on an empty stomach!  The catering areas are often quite busy, so make sure you take some snacks to keep yourself going.  I personally recommend Nakd bars.

Arrange Your Meetings

Some of the exhibitor stands can be quite busy at peak times and also I can guarantee the folks on the stands would love a chance to sit down!  Make use of the numerous break out areas to discuss your ideas or have a catch up.

Come and Talk to Junction-18

Don’t pretend you didn’t see this one coming!  I'll be there with Juction-18 and we'll be rocking Stand L8, which is fairly close to the entrance, in between Theatres 6 & 7.

We want to talk to people who are just as passionate about developing outstandingdigital learning as we are.  We’ll be sharing examples of our work over the past 12 months, including examples of gamification, mobile learning and 3D simulations & scenarios.  We’ll also be showing the latest version of our OnBoard learning platform.  And we'll have some other sweet treats in store..

If you’re heading along, I hope to see you there!
